The Temagami Marine service department believes in preventative maintenance.

Regular seasonal maintenance on your watercraft will prevent many of the mishaps that may happen to your engine. We feel that it’s our responsibility to keep our customers informed of potential problems. Therefore, we will suggest to you items that should be replaced during regular scheduled maintenance, rather than putting your vacation at risk.

Your time is precious; spend more of it on the water and less of it at the service dock.

When boats come out of winter storage at Temagami Marine they undergo thorough inspections and testing. Some of the maintenance is performed during winterization; the remainder is completed during the spring when the boat can be water-tested.

The Spring Maintenance Package:

• Battery charged
• Oil levels checked
• Electrical system & accessories tested
• Spark plugs changed
• Water separator replaced
• Starting system checked
• Prop shaft & steering arm lubricated
• Engine performance tested

Additional work may be done as required:

• Worn anodes replaced
• Damaged props repaired or replaced
• Engine tuned-up
• Idle speed adjusted
• Throttle and shift cables adjusted
• Fenders & Loops replaced
• Ropes replaced
• Hull plug replaced

Sometimes mechanical failures do happen.
If so, our service department will have you back on the water in a timely and professional manner. Our highly trained technicians service all lines we carry and any that you may have.
